Valuing People

The Valuing People website has been taken offline in October 2019.

Valuing People was developed by Dementia Australia to support community organisations to help improve the quality of support they provide to people impacted by dementia.

Dementia Australia's Centre for Dementia Learning offers a range of education for people working in the aged care, health and community sectors, you can find out more by visiting www.dementialearning.org.au or emailing cdl@dementia.org.au.

Veterans’ MATES

The Department of Veterans' Affairs has developed the Veterans' Medicines Advice and Therapeutics Education Services (Veterans' MATES) project with the aim of improving the use of medicines and related health services in the veteran community.

Walking safely with dementia

Walking is a healthy activity that should be part of your everyday life. There is no need to stop walking even once you have been diagnosed with dementia.

Walking Safely with Dementia offers information, tips and strategies for you if you are living with dementia, and also for your family and carers. It suggests ways you can walk safely and how we as a community can help if you become lost or disoriented.
